Compliance

We welcome the introduction of the Ombudsman Scheme for Estate Agents and Move to the Future is a full member. We see the full and unwavering implementation of best practise as essential to our success which is why we have even built in many of the requirements of best practise into our systems. Quality is literally built into the Move to the Future operation and just a few examples of this are:

  • There is a full audit trail of all activities related to the sale of your property.
  • We can give the Ombudsman or other regulatory bodies instant "Audit Read Only Access" to any particular case/sale. From their desktop they are able to investigate any aspect of a sale within minutes.
  • In many areas we have built in safeguards which will prevent non compliance. E.g. The property cannot be made visible to the public until at least the basic HIP requirements have been met and the system will remind the HIP builder regarding outstanding HIP items.
  • The system automatically ensures that the seller and buyer are informed of the buyer’s offer. If they have elected to receive notification by e–mail they will be notified within seconds. This instant automatic electronic notification can then be followed up by telephone and letter.

In short we are determined to set new standards of efficiency and professionalism within the industry.


Value for money

The Move to the Future approach is both more effective and efficient. It is therefore more profitable. We could have just pocketed the money and become another fat cat organisation but we believe the key to our future success, is to give real value by passing on much of the saving to our customers.

Most sellers accept that a good estate agent will help them to sell their property more quickly and at a better price. Unfortunately they also believe the current price levels are a rip off and to some extent they are correct.

By modernising the process and in particular by creating a true one stop solution where all participants can work on the same system Move to the Future is able to make significant cost savings that we are passing onto our clients.
